EFCC Probe 4 Buhari Ministers, Arrest Contractor, Billions Missing

A top EFCC official disclosed that the contractor implicated former Minister Sadiya Umar-Farouk and ex-directors-general in an alleged financial misappropriation. Three other former ministers under President Muhammadu Buhari are also under investigation for a graft estimated at N150 billion.  Okwete, cooperating with investigators, was arrested four days ago and may implicate Umar-Farouk and directors-general in the alleged N37 billion fraud. Documents reveal that Okwete, associated with 143 bank accounts and 53 companies, transferred funds for Bureau De Change transactions, luxury purchases, and property acquisitions. The EFCC declined comments on the matter.
